It is part of the Presbyterian Church (USA),

the largest Presbyterian group in the United States with approximately 3 million members.

The congregation is governed by the Session, an elected council of elders (our name derives from the Greek presbuteros, elder), and moderated by the pastor. More general matters come before Carlisle Presbytery (monthly) and national General Assembly (annual) meetings, where elders and clergy are represented in equal numbers.

Members and nonmembers are invited to contact the pastor about wedding ceremonies, baptisms, and funeral services.
