Prayer for Blessing of Shawls

Loving God, may your grace be upon the shawls made with love and prayers.
Bless the hands that made these shawls to be the hands of blessings.
May the people who receive them be embraced with your love, hope, joy and peace.
Wrap your everlasting arm around them with your steadfast and unconditional love.
May the shawls represent your loving arm to uphold them with warmness and care.
May they feel your presence and comfort when they use them.

Loving God, reach out to those who receive the shawl
with your healing hand and your power for their wellness and wholeness.
Give them wisdom, strengthen them and bless them in all things they do.

I Jesus Christ's name we pray

We are doing well with God’s grace upholding us all to be instruments of love
and comfort for those in need.
Come to a crocheting and knitting gathering on
Monday May 8th at 11:00 AM
at Little Buffalo State Park

Bring a brown bag lunch for yourself

Come enjoy the fellowship as we make Prayer Shawls.

If you would like to help purchase yarn,
write a check to the church and memo “Prayer Shawl Ministry.”

We will bless the shawls on the last Sunday of the month at morning worship service..

The prayers that we pray into these shawls when we make them and the Blessing Service in Church
does not give the shawl any "magic" it give us FAITH that God will be here for us, we only have to BELIEVE!
